Iron City Drumworks

Iron City Drumworks is changing our business model. Due to the enormous amount of time required to build our instruments, as well as ongoing business ventures and increasing family commitments we are changing the way we do business. As of September 26, 2010 we will no longer be taking orders for our products directly. We will continue to build the highest quality drums and percussion instruments available. However, we will now produce instruments as the muse moves us and offer what we make for sale through online auctions. From time to time we will send out messages through the newsletter informing our fans of upcoming auctions, as well as news and happenings. When we opened the doors of Iron City Drumworks many years ago it was about the passion for making works of art for poducing works of art. While we have maintained our commitment to quality, the passion has waned due to the overwhelming scheduling. This action is our attempt to rediscover the passion of drums and drumming. We know the kind of drummer that would be interested in Iron City Drumworks will understand.

"It's a really good product. I can see a particular need for this with smaller snare drums (the fact that this will fit my 12" as easily as my 15" is a serious bonus too! - my ten incher is out of my studio right now so I couldn't check it out, but I figure that would work as well) Anyway, on my little 12, it is very difficult to get a clean cross stick sound. Obviously that changed when you put this sucker on the drum! The hip hop guys have GOT to get this!!!!"
